The Lewisville Historical Society invites the public to its Membership Meeting featuring a special presentation by Jacob Crews of Historic Bethabara Park on the War of Independence in Moravian Wachovia.
When the Revolution came to North Carolina, the Moravians of Wachovia found themselves caught between the Patriots and British. As pacifists, they sought to remain neutral while facing pressure from both sides.
Join Jacob Crews as he explores how the Moravians navigated the challenges of the Revolutionary War and the impact it had on their communities.
Lewisville Historical Society Presents ... is a bimonthly program of the Lewisville Historical Society and the Lewisville Branch Library. It is free and open to the public. Participants do not need to be members of the society to attend.
